Once you are inrolled, your benefits do not change from what you had before. The same coverage you had prior, you will have with cobra.. The length that you are on cobra varies between 12 and 18 months. However once you get another job and that coverage kicks in, then the cobra is terminated. Most of the time the ex-employer will enroll you and all payents are made to the ex-employer.
