Why do people think that people who don't have health insurance are all lazy people?

What about children who don't have health care? They should suffer, because of their parents actions?

People are so evil. There are so many people who have jobs, but still can't afford health insurance.

When did Americans become so cruel to just blatantly generalize everybody and exclude them out of getting health care?

I think some people are purposely omitting to mention that preventive care can save lives. They also seem to gloss over the fact that emergency room care is very expensive and those costs have to be paid for. Those costs are passed on to others.

I don’t pretend to be able to fathom God’s thinking but I do know that as responsible human beings, with the ability to make choices, we must seriously reexamine health care in this country with a goal of saving lives and improving the health of Americans.

I don't think He'd be in favor of 1 in 4 babies dying among the poor in the South.

God does exist. And he created us with reason, logic and common sense to get an education, get jobs and receive health insurance.

And he created us to take care of our children using these things as well.

Don't blame God for laziness, ignorance, selfishness and foolishness of us humans.

Take it from someone that works in the health field (paramedic), in 15 yrs I have never seen a hospital allow someone to die for lack of coverage. I do agree we need to overhaul our health care to provide for some type of national insurance for those that dont have it. But the statement that we simply allow people to die is a blatant falsehood

Amazing how when bad things happen it's all God's fault. No one acknowledges Him when things are going fine. Suddenly people are struck with a tragedy and call upon Him but when that passes, they forget all about Him.

My best friend was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer and had NO health insurance. She received Excellent Health Care. She went to be with Jesus in December. So, health care/insurance doesn't always mean much.

Anyways, those without health insurance can receive hospital services and the hospital/provider will usually accept monthly payments and will probably eventually write it off anyways. The rest of us with quality healthcare will pay for it in the long run.
