i will have insurance within the next few months.....but what if i get pregnant before i get insurance, will they turn me down, any advice would be great!!!!!

my advise would to wait until ur insurance is active and a for sure thing as being prego u need to have good care and most likely u wont get that with no health care. good luck and for ur future child plz wait 4 insurance.

If you are pregnant at the time you apply for coverage, you will be denied.

Many carriers offer maternity coverage as a rider, although it can be quite expensive. UHC's rates are low, but coverage is limited.

Depending on your state you should be able to get maternity coverage that will cover you through out your pregnancy and also cover your 6 week check up.
Illinois has an excellent plan called "healthy mothers and babies". It really helps in an emergency.

I agree. I would strongly suggest you wait until you have insurance. It's better to be safe and be 100% SURE that your pregnancy will be covered, than to get prego, then get insurance to find that you won't be covered because it is considered a pre-existing condition. Do yourself a favor and wait until you have coverage!!!
