I have a problem with my jaw.
First, I would like to let it be known that I DO have TMJ.
I already know I do. I've had it since I was a little kid.
It was getting much better, and got to the point where I forgot I had it. It has been fine and forgotten about for about 3 years now. Randomly, yesterday morning when I woke up....My jaw felt crooked....And each time I open my mouth to chew, talk, yawn, swallow (ANY movement whatsoever, whether small movement or not) my jaw cracks. But it's not a normal cracking...it's more of a grinding, and it's annoying. It doesn't hurt, though. And my jaw isn't straight. I've noticed that my botom jaw is crooked. It's slightly too far to the left, almost an entire tooths length. My top and bottom front teeth no longer line up. My bottom teeth are over to my left one tooth too far. And my retainer (which I wear when I go to bed) hurts when I put it in. And the reason I'm confused is because this randomly started out of nowhere when I woke up yesterday
