Default who should I talk to when my health insurance coverage changes and I can

no longer afford my medication? My medicine went from costing me $40.00 a month to $2000.00 per month and I have no way of affording this cost. My life is dependent upon my medication. I have spoken to the insurance provider to no avail, is there anything else I can do?

Call a Canadian pharmacy - look one up on the internet, most have websites that will tell you if they carry your medication. My mom uses it for her medication as well or we would not be able to afford for her to take it.

If that doesnt work, you can talk to your doctor, sometimes they will keep providing you with samples. Walmart also offers some prescriptions for only $4.

Move to Florida. Wal-mart sells most major drugs for 4.00 for a month's supply. Cheaper than co-pay.
