You are going to have to get health insurance in MA or you will end up paying penalties.
Because insurance is mandatory in MA now...every insurance company has come out with affordable plans.
Try www.mahealthconnector.org. They will have info about all of the different policies and help you chose the best one for you.
Also, if you earn less than $30,636.00/year you may be eligible for the Commonwealth Care program (where they pay a portion of your premium).
The lowest price that I found was $126.31/mo. (but that is with a high deductible and no Rx coverage).
