Default Can health insurance companies send the packet to a non-applicant just...

...because they are the primary care giver The background to all this is that I am court ordered to provide insurance. I put all of MY information on the application so that I will be the one to recieve the packet and then forward it as per the divorce decree. The health insurance sent it to my ex instead, without notifying me. He is not on the application, and I do not feel should have been able to change the information. All I authorized is that they get medical information about my son, since I am never informed about any doctor's visits so I tend to be left in the dark. When I spoke to a customer service about why I didn't recieve the packet (and found out why) she just laughed at my being upset and actually justified it, although confirmed that my ex could not and did not change the address--although he still had an impact as to where it went.

I wouldnt think so. I am also divorced and the only thing my ex wife pays is my son's medical insurance (I have custody) I would NEVER think to do anything with her insurance company- it doesnt even sound right

I don't have an answer to your question, but i asked that suicide question for my school play project and it seemed to offend you, so I wanted to apologize. I didn't really think about people really taking the advice, regardless of how widely available it is online. I'll take it down tonight if you think it is important.
