Default Can my employer legally switch health insurance without notifying me or

getting my signature? N.Carolina? I work in Charlotte, NC. I have been on one insurance plan for the past year. It was our annual enrollment period during the month of May. I get a new insurance provider card in the mail this past weekend on June 9th that says it's effective since June 1st.....yet I've been given no notice by my employer of the switch, nor have I been asked to sign anything or given the option to review the plan or make changes to my coverage. I haven't even received a booklet with the new coverage data. Neither has any other employee here!

Is there a law protecting my rights for this?
Where can I find information or who can I contact?

They aren't even required to provide you with coverage and can cancel their policy without notice. At least all they did was go with a new company and maybe change the benefits around. It is odd that HR wouldn't at least want to make it SOUND like a positive move, though.
