Er medical is given to to you by your local health depermant thank god for it because the day I got it I miscarried they paid for the d/c the follow up and all my meds. You will have it for 45 days which will be enough to get you though once you get it you will need to go to your local dhs officeand get the full blown medical or another program for which you could quailfy at least for the pregnancy.

Usually, medicaid will back-pay for any unpaid medical bills related to the pregnancy for up to about 4 months prior to your enrollment. Check with your local health department to find out if that is the case. They are normally very good at answering your questions.

go and sign up for Medicaid. i can almost guarantee that you wont be denied. being that far along..they wont deny you if you have no medical insurance. especially if you don't have a job and you aren't going to school.

they say it wont process for that long...but you can still go and they will go back and cover the appointment you went to. get medicaid..it will cover the rest of your pregnancy, the labor and delivery, and it will cover your post partum check up after 6 weeks. plus it will cover your childs check ups.

Call your local Social Services, or whoever handles Medicaid and see what they tell you. Find out if there is PCAP in your area too.
