Default Is it possible to get health insurance in the U.S. for somebody that lives in a

different country? My boyfriend's mother lives in El Salvador. They had a bad accident some years ago and she has needed various sugeries. She can't afford health insurance so we were interested in knowing if we could get her health insurance here in the U.S. We figured if she needs to get another operation, we could fly her up here and she could get the operation done in the U.S. (Getting into the country won't be a problem). Do you know if it's possible to have a health insurance policy for her here? Thanks in advance.
