OK, the state ALLOWS it, but doesn't REQUIRE it. So you have to ask your employer if they will allow it. 99% of the time, the employer will NOT allow it, and 100% of the time a private policy will not allow it.
If you want marital rights, like being on health insurance, then you need to take on the marital responsibilities. Go get married.
