Default What options exist for pregnant women who make too much for Medicaid but...

...cannot afford health insurance? I am not pregnant yet, but we are trying. My health insurance does not include maternity. I could purchase it but first off we can't afford it and secondly I would have to wait a year to use it. Our first son's birth was covered by Medicaid because we were under the poverty level at that time. Now I know that we would not be able to get Medicaid.

What options are out there for me? I have heard of Maternity Card. I would love to hear your opinions and personal stories. Thank you for sharing.
