do you have insurance now? if not then you need to wait. most companies will consider it a preexisting condition which if you currently have coverage and there will be less than 60 days gap in coverage they have to cover you. if you dont have it even when you do get insurance they dont cover any of the pregnancy expenses. also when you do get pregnant you should go to the doc as soon as possible. Before you start trying start taking prenatal vitamins. you can get them over the counter and then when you see the doc he will give you a prescription. the prescription vitamins are stronger but its better to take something. the folic acid prevents birth defects. good luck

i had my first appointment when i was 6 weeks .. so trying to get pregnant now probably wont be a good idea .. planned parenthood doesnt provide prenatal care .. they provide, pregnancy test, birth control and in some states abortions .. but they dont do prenatal care .. at least not in my area. in most cases if you start trying now it might take a month or two to actually get pregnant, but i would just wait until you actually have insurance incase you get lucky your first time

If you get pregnant now... they can call it a pre existing condition and not cover any related charges......

You cant see a dr until your coverage is effective. I know a woman that didnt see a dr until she was 6 months.... she got her insurance at 5 months... waited a month and went to the dr and played stupid.... said she had just took a home test just so they would cover her.

Usually see the dr the first time between 6-8 weeks.

I had this same experience. I got pregnant about 2 months before my insurance kicked in. I had absolutly no problems with my pregnancy even though I didn't go to the doctor until 2 1/2 months into my pregnancy. Of course wait to get pregnant if you can but if you choose not to, make sure to take you prenatal vitamins as soon as you start trying to concieve. I think Planned Parenthood would be fine for the first 1 or 2 visits. Call your new insurance carrier and ask them about it (if you dont want to give your name saying you are not a client but are thinking about using them). Just be careful, pregnany is expesive. The bill from my hospital to my insurance company was 16k!!! GOOD LUCK!

If your pregency is normal you would be covered, however if there are complications before January, these would not be covered. It's only a few months, wait until you can be sure everything will be covered. gl

I would wait. You will need to see a doctor from the beginning and it is best to see the same doctor the whole pregnancy. Sometimes things happen, like in my case, early in the pregnancy that requires special attention and medical care that you couldn't get at a free clinic. You may be able to save yourself a lot by waiting. It isn't that far away.

you need to see a doctor right away. i would wait. your insurance might not cover the birth and everything since the baby was concieved before you got the insurance it is considered pre-existing. trust me i checked into it myself, ended up having to go and sign up for WIC and medicaid.

No, because pregnancy would be a pre-existing condition and not covered by your insurance. You want to be certain that your insurance covers pregnancy.

I wouldnt because if you got pergnant right away it is a lot of blood work, and appointments that would getting expensive. you have the first set of boold work like as soon as you know, then differtn testing and an appointment every month. that is if every thing is good. I was very sick with both of first pregnanicesand in the hospital for fluid and in and out of the docttors all of the time. my thrid is not like that but you never know how your boby will haddle it. hope this helps
