Private, for profit, health ins. is a fraud!
My wife was a nurse with health ins. She came down with cancer and almost died because of a paperwork snafu. Of course she lost her job, along with the ins. ! Most health ins. is just a building with a false front and NO floor ! Sure you're covered if you break a bone, but not if you're so sick that you can't work. Now both of us are un-ins. and she's getting Medi-care. We had to get legally separated in order for her to qualify for benefits. She can't have more than $2,000 in the bank, and only one car. We have to travel over 50 miles each way, just to get care, there are no authorized doctors in our county. For profit health ins. is a fraud ! The paperwork just to qualify for Medi -care or Soc. Sec. is very complicated and intimidating ! If my wife hadn't had the medical experience as a nurse, she wouldn't have gotten the medical treatment that she needed! She knew what questions to ask,and who to complain to in order to get things done. The ordinary person wouldn't be so lucky. So now, the tax payer is picking up the tab. The ins. co. kept all the profit it made before they dropped my wife's policy. How is that fair ?

Yes I have health insurance. I pay for it. My family is covered. I also have automobile, homeowners, and life insurance. Should all insurance be free?

i don't and most who work in construction don't as we are considered contract laborers, also, our wages won't go up for at least 15 years and haven't rise in last 10 because of all the mexicans working here in mississippi.
