Default Where can I get a corneal ulcer examined with no health insurance?

I'm a graduating college student and as such, my parents' health insurance just dropped me from coverage, though since I'm still two weeks away from beginning work, I haven't picked up my own health insurance. Today, I discovered a corneal ulcer which from the reading I've done, can lead to blindness in as little as 24-48 hours if I don't get it examined. However, I'm loathe to go anyplace without health insurance -- both for the cost as well as the negative connotation. Where's the best place I can go to have this potential emergency examined that won't put be on the streets financially (I'm still a college student), would accept my lack-of-insurance status, and be qualified to perform an opthalmological exam?

Note that my mother's insurance which recently dropped me waived my school's health insurance... so I really am insurance-less.
