care passes? Do liberal's hearts not bleed for the families who's bread winners won't have jobs, because they used to work for an evil insurance company that tried to make "profits" (how dare they), and is now out of business because the government now performs their service for free?
So if the insurance companies will still do all of the work, and will insure all of the people in this country, and the government will force them to pay 100% of everything the doctor bills, who in the world is going to pay for this? It alone would have to be the single largest tax hike in history. The cost of implementing something like that is not even fathomable.

We'll all end up like the Soviet Union before it toppled - for reasons exactly like universal health care.

Companies get to actually compete in the world market unfettered by insurance costs and the public gets to have health insurance that makes sense.
