DID YOU KNOW THAT ALL HEALTH INSURANCE IS A FRAUD? Did you ever read the fine print?

Insurance only covers you if you or your employer pays for it.
When you get so sick that you lose your job,the ins. stops as well ! All you're covered for, is just the original health problem. Don't come down with anything else ! You won't be covered !
Unless you are very wealthy, you'll have to go on Medi-Care or Soc. Sec. ! Then you can have only 1 car, 1 house, and no more than $2,000 in the bank ! If you go over the $ limit, you lose benifits ! So if you get cancer and live,...you will never be able to get ins. again.! Don't get sick or break a bone..you're not covered ! Does that sound fair? Everthing you have worked for and saved up,will be GONE ! It's a scam !
how do you pay for COBRA? When you're on disabity you can't work, and you can't have much in the form of assets. We're living it !
h ow is cancer and never being able to get ins. again, just sreading DRAMA? This is my life experience. Death is a drama !
The way S.S. is set up, you're better off if your NOT married.

Actually if that is the case, you should go on temporary disability and your employer may not (as in can't) fire you while you are on temp. disability. Furthermore, while on temp disability you are typically eligible for medicaid (not medicare). If you lose your job, then your employer must offer COBRA. You keep the insurance but the employer doesnt pay any portion as you are no longer an employee so you don't receive benefits.

There are several low-cost insurance companies out there such as blue-cross and kaiser permanente. And no they will not cover pre-existing conditions, but from your....rant....that would be cancer. So a broken bone would not be related to your pre-existing condition.

As far as what your employer may dismiss you for, it is all outlined in your personnel handbook.

I'm sorry you are having a bad experience but insurance is not fraud.

If you have more than one car and one house and you expect medical assistance you are insane! Sell your 'luxeries' to help pay your bills. Why on earth should the government pay your helth coverage while you have things that aren't necessities!

Of course you won't be covered if you lose your coverage. You wont be covered in a hurricane if you stop paying your home insurance either.

If you remain ill, then you would qualify for permanent disability. If you are on permanent disability then you qualify for medicaid.

If you get better then you can get another job and go back to getting insurance.

Great question, and I agree with you completely! BTW Cobra is a joke...a very bad joke! *sm*

Oh, you're so right, you only get it if someone PAYS for it. That works for EVERYTHING.

so rather than wait for the government to attach your assets before you can go on welfare health assistance (meaning, before *I* have to pay for it), let's just have everyone's assets attached right NOW. Then we don't have to worry about who makes what, everyone's salary will just go into one big pot for government to spend! We can have government health care, government housing, and government groceries!!

People who don't want to work won't have to! They can just get their share ANYWAY, that's fair, right? Of course, the average SHARE will go down, because most people won't bother working!!

That's how it works! Worked GREAT in the USSR, people were free to stand in the bread lines ALL DAY LONG!!

Where only the government people have access to EVERYTHING, but everything else is divided equally! How GREAT!!

wow some company made you made..
Too bad you are wrong! Bill Clinton passed a law that doesn't allow certain conditions to be pre-existing and as long as you've had less that a 63 day break in coverage they can't count ANYTHING as pre-existing...

Well, that's basically how all insurance works. You aren't covered unless you continue paying on the policy. Most things in life are like that - nothing is for free.

I know wacth the new movie called Sicko, i saw a really good preview about it, that movie tells it like it is. Only those who live in a few country's in Europe get good cover but unfortunately I live in the U.S. Our idiot for a president wants to stop some of the insurance companies I mean get rid of them for good! Its not fair.

Have you ever heard of COBRA?

Stop spreading drama. It's old and tacky.
