I have health insurance through my employer. (Anthem Keycare 30). Starting from this year, the insurance will offer a free annual physical checkup and gynecological exam (for guys, free prostate check). I want to take advantage of those two free checkups. However, I have never been to the hospital/clinic the four years I am in the States. Could anyone tell me where I should go for the checkups and how do I make sure it is really free and there's no extra charge. Will the nurse/doctor tell you if something is not covered and you have to pay?

P.S. While I was in China last year, I found that I had a benign ovarian cyst about 4cm big. If it doesn't get bigger, then I don't need to worry about it, according to the doctor. If it grows, then I have to get rid of it. Will the general gynecological checkup check my ovarian cyst to see if it grows?

The best thing that you can do is to call Anthem and ask them where you should go that will cover this and do you have to be referred by a primary physician--if you need to be referred by a primary physician--then go to that physician and get an order for what you need and you shouldn't have any problem.
As for what is covered--well I would think they pay for the visit in total unless they find something wrong which could require additional charges--if that happens just ask them--many times they will just call your insurer there at the office for you.
