my grandma died and left me her life insurance policy and i have sent out all the necessary paperwork and i was wondering how long it takes to recieve payment ... i kno it depends on how she died and things soo she died of terminal cancer any help???

Just answered this, as you've posted it twice. It's usually 2 - 4 weeks, unless the policy is contestable. The NAMED BENEFICIARY gets the check.
