Default Help with Life Insurance?

I just called Cuna Mutual Group Life Insurance and asked about my husband group accidental death and accidental dismemberment insurance which is in Family Plan. My husband is the Insured Member but it's a family plan. They told me that eventhough he is the insured member I'm also insured that whatever happens to me my husband would be the beneficiary. I called to stop my life insurance because my husband always buying life insurance for me as if he wants to kill me to get money from life insurance. They say they will going to investigate and tomorrow they will call me back. I just want to know how will I know if my husband bought another life insurance which is family plan or any other life insurance. Because this one I just found it in his file cabinet while he is on his one-week training.
How will I know if my husband bought another life insurance in another insurance agent. What will I do? I'm afraid because I just came from another country and new here in USA just 3 years and he is obsessed in buying life insurance for me. The first life insurance I found out that he is the beneficiary too I called Veterans Life Insurance and closed it; this one I found is on his filing cabinet and I don't know that it is a family plan and whatever happens to me he is also the beneficiary. We dont have children together; he had five children from ex-wife

People are not allowed to buy life insurance on other people without the insured person getting a physical and signing permission forms. (Of course, he might be forging your name; lots of companies just want to make the sale.) I wouldn't worry about the AD&D insurance, that's not typically for enough of a face amount to inspire murder. There are limits to how much insurance can be bought on a person, for precisely this reason. (It's usually a percentage of the insured's income.) See what the company tells you. If they can't give you a good answer, it wouldn't hurt to have a talk with the police. Good luck.

Geez this is kind of scary. Maybe you should talk to him about how he feels about life insurance. He might just be investing in your future together as a couple. Try to find out if you are the benificiary to his policies also. If this is the case, I wouldn't worry about it.

If you really have a bad instinct about it, tell someone else that would be able to stand up for you if anything did happen. Just remember that he will find out if you closed the accounts on yourself, as he will get mail about it. You might want to confront him before he confronts you. Bye the way, where was the trust in this relationship to begin with? If you can't live your life without thinking your husband is going to do something to you, why not get a divorce?
