Default Dear Muslim Brothers & Sisters: Which fatwa says my life/health insurance is haram?.?

1. I just needed some insurance. That's all.

2. The 'contract between myself & the insurance company is to protect myself & my family whenever we faced difficulties in health & loss of lives. That's all.

3. Whatever they (the insurance co.) do with the money is absolutely has 'nothing to do' with the contract agreed between the insurance company & me.

4. If one says haram because they take into consideration all other investment the insurance company dealt with, which may include 'interest/ursury' on short term deposits, that's absolutely has nothing to do with me.

5. If there's a 'fatwa' prohibits the insurance due to 'source' or 'income' of the funds, then we cannot sell food, sell house, sell anything to the bankers, to the businessman too as their businesses are financed by banks thus their source of money is haram. We basically infringe ourselves from all economic activities & infringe ourselves from all benevolent reasons. And that is NOT Islamic.
baserunner,
Get out of your cave, dude. Islam actually requires people to challenge everything including science before embrace it.

Islam is just fine. The individuals& people complicate things, manipulate verses as they wish, all at the expense of others & the religion.
koyla K,

You might belonged to communities of some irrational Muslims in India, Afghanistan, Pakistan & Bangladesh that are so ignorant about modernization & excel in life as urged by true Islamic teachings.
Skyzun,
Thanks for the reply.
johanssm,

Thanks, that make sense.
Nowhereman,
Are you desperate for 2 points?
Oh yah, this has got nothing to do with your hell man!
