Hello, I'm looking to get life insurance for myself. I need a referral from somone who has firsthand experience with getting life insurance for him/herself. I'm looking for an insurance company that is known to be fair, and not difficult for the beneficiary should something happen to me. Thanks in advance for your help.

My advise to you is to contact a local Independent Insurance Agency.

I'm insured by Amica, and I chose them because they have consistently scored highest among all insurance companies in J.D. Powers' ratings of home and auto insurers (Powers doesn't rate life insurers).































Not surprisingly, however, I can't tell you from personal experience how easy they are on the beneficiary.
