Alternative to Norwich Union for Home Insurance?

I am sooo fuming angry with Norwich Union and would like to find an alternative home insurance supplier. My laptop has broken and NU expect me to take it for repair or evaluation myself. I want an insurer that will supply a solution as opposed to a half arsed joke of a solution.

Does anyone know a UK home insurer that will collect, repair / replace and return broken or damaged household items?
