Depends on the age of the home and the upgrades. It should cost around $600 per year. Lower if it's average, higher if it's highly upgraded, and higher if its more than 6 years old.

you need to start shopping. look at several companies and dont just go by price!

Somewhere between $500 and $4,000, depending on a whole bunch of other factors - like the cost to replace, the protection class, the construction type, the age of the house and updates, etc.
