Default What is a good home insurance company in southern california?

I am with farmers and it is time for me to renew my contract with them but im kind of iffy about the whole thing. I have fire protection but nothing for earth quakes which scares me because we have had 3 in the last couple of months. I want to be covered for everything at a low cost.

Well, you CAN'T be covered for "everything" at low cost. The more coverage you have, the more the insurance costs. It's just basic math.

You need to call a couple local, INDEPENDENT agents, to get quotes from SEVERAL companies. Get quotes with and without earthquake coverage, so you can compare apples to apples.
