P.S. The Prudential have been the WORST car insurance company I've ever dealt with so I won't touch this company with a barge pole!

I have used LLoyds TSB for the last 5 years.for both building and contents insurance.. Have had a couple of problems, a flood due to centrall heating fault etc. and they have been brilliant. Their rates are quite competitive too.

I never know why people buy insurance from banks when they have such a poor record of customer service - mis-selling, penalties etc, etc - and people know this before they take out the policy.

Put it like this. If you had a query about your policy would you like to spend a long time on a phone speaking to an operator in Mumbai who is representing the insurance COMPANY or would you rather walk down your high-street to a local insurance broker and chat face to face with a professional insurance advisor who is acting on YOUR BEHALF?
