Default any ideas where i can find out how many active home insurance policies
there are in the UK? or policy holders? not the most exciting statistics and i'm having no luck finding them

Only thing I can think of is phoning head office of all the insurance companies. Surely they'll know the figure they have and then add them all up. I doubt there is some sort of database.
