Default I am paying twice the premium on my nursing home insurance than my friend. Am...

...I getting screwed? I have RiverSourse Life and he has John Alden. Looks like benefits are equal. Help.

There are many variables. You may be older or you may smoke or have other health issues that your friend doesn't have. Is your friend male and you are female? Because females live longer usually. Nursing homes are full of them wandering around with walkers.

I agree with the above post. The other major variable is when each policy was purchased. If your friend purchased his/her policy a long time ago, it's possible that he/she got a better premium break due to being young(er) at the time.
