Default I am a Canadian citizen, now residing in Australia, do I need travel medical

insurance when visiting Canada? I have recently become a Permanent Resident in Australia but am now planning my first visit back to Canada. I need to know if I will need to purchase travel insurance in case of emergency, or if I will be covered in the event that I were to need health care in Canada.
