I know it's good to have and worth it...but I'm trying to save as much money as possible. Anyone been ok without getting it?

We have never gotten it and we have always been fine, just make sure you always keep the money on your person and never leave it in the car. or in your purse in the car. you should be fine, like I said we vacation every year and we have never gotten insurance.
