I am travelling to Amsterdam on Tuesday (returning Friday) and wondered if anyone knows of any good insurance companies that will not cost the Earth (nor will they 'take me to the cleaners'). Not looking for annual insurance and travelling by plane (if that makes a difference).

usually when u pay using a credit or debit card, ur bank covers ur insurance, so give them a call and find out cos im with barclays and i dont have to get insurance when i travel cos i pay with my credit card!
