Default Buying travel insurance?

What should I look for when buying travel insurance? Is there a regulatory company that guarantees that the company is kosher? I've seen one that says it is registed with the Financial Services Authority. Is that sufficant?

Can i recommend www.portwood.co.uk

I know this broker has several different products (at least 4-5 more than my own brokerage) so should be able to offer you a good product at a suitable price.

The broker himself is FSA regulated & all the underwriters on the panel are 'Kosher' (in my opinion)
