Get a quote online. Just be careful because most of them will access your credit history and you don't want to have too many inquiries. Use your search engine to bring up the more frequently used car insurance companies. AARP just means you're over 50 and depending on the coverage you're looking for, may save you some $$$. They use the same insurance companies as everyone else, but they may have a special affiliation rates for their members. Have your old policy premium page ready because all the quotes are going to ask for the same information. It would help if you didn't have to search for it. Once you give them all the information and submit it, you can compare policies by price and make an informed decision.

Good Luck.
