I recently bought a vehicle from a private party in North Carolina. However, I will not be the primary driver, (my girlfriend will be), do I need to insure the vehicle if I will not be driving it? Can she be insured for the vehicle without being on the title? Or, will my insurance cover us both? Most likely we will be dealing with Allstate, if this helps.
