My son is 19 and does'nt live at home any more but he is still on my policy. He has not made an insurance payment to me in over 18 months. I wanted to delete his auto from my policy long ago, but my agent says the company (Acuity) will still consider him a driver in the household and raise the rates on one of my other two cars. His driver's license still shows my home address and he is not making any effort to get his own insurance. Is this the way it is and if so, what can I do to convince the company he is living on his own and will not have access to my vehicles?
