I live in Northeast Wisconsin. I was on my way to work and a City dump truck ran a stop sign and hit me. I have no insurance. I don't need any lectures about this I understand the importants of insurance but I would rather feed and give my children a safe place to live then pay that bill. I'm a single mom of four and am doing the best I can. So my question is what is going to happen. Will I get a fine, will my car loan be paid for or not. Will the medical bills be paid for???????????????/

No lectures. The city needs to take care of you. It might get tough, because they might claim "sovereign immunity" Means you cant sue them. Contact the proper office in the city where the accident happened and see what they will do for you. It wasn't your fault. Providing all the info you gave us is correct.

Now for the lecture. You are why our insurance rates are so high, because we have to pay for people who are driving without insurance.

You will probably get nothing...no insurance
You will probably not get your loan paid...no insurance
You will probably not get medical bills paid....no insurance
You will probably get a fine....no insurance

Guess what i'm gonna say?
