Default my car's insurance group is 7, im looking at buying anouther car ,it's insurance

group is 9? is there much difference in price?
i have a Rover 216, im getting a Nissan Primera si (1600cc)

If you can afford the first one and are seriously thinking about the second one, who cares? you can afford it.

Why not do a good deed and pay mine also, I'll give you a lift whenever I'm in London.

Not a great deal, it not till you get to 15 16 etc that the prices get really high.

I more depends on your age and the age of any named drivers that will determine your premium. Dont be fooled by any companies offering best prices either do plenty of searching on the net, you'll save a fortune.

You must be getting a Sports Car. Yes there is at least a 20% difference

Not much, maybe about 10-20% more. Shop around and you might get it for the same, if you're lucky.
When I changed from a little Fiat (group 3) to an Alfa (group 15), my insurance went from £250 to £400, if you've got a good NCB and you're over 25, insurance shouldn't be too much of an issue.
