...registered and it's insured? Can I drive out of state with temporary plates on my car. I just bought a used car that only has the rear temporary plate and I need to travel from Illinois through Indiana, Tennesse, Kentucky and alabama. I have only had the car three weeks but the car is properly registered and I do have insurance. Is it legal I don't want to break the law or get tickets.
