Which is the best website to find cheaper car insurance?

I havent found a quote on-line before, and am not keen on supplying all me personal informtion. Is this standard procedure when requestin a quote?

Please recommend the best website to find the best deal.

they have to have your personal info so they can work out best deals for you things like your age, job and area you live all affect price of car insurance not just make and model of car. i use tesco insurance i've found these to be by far the cheapest

I got my car insurance through tesco. Not too many unecessary questions and cheap.
