Default hi my son is going to buy a car and be the owner and registered keeper , can i

insure the car and name him? as a driver of the car , it would cost a couple of thousand pounds for him to have his own insurance policy but if he drives on my policy it will be much cheaper ,thanks

I don't believe that's legal USA or UK.
