How do I deal with a car insurance company if the adjuster claims she
can not reach their insured? I made a 3rd party claim in Florida with esurance and the adjuster claims that she can not reach their insured and his phone is disconnected, which I know is not true. Do I talk to her supervisor? Report to local media or make a BBB report ? I just want to avoid to call my insurance since my record is claim free.
Thanks!
Let me add some details to answer questions some of you have raised:
First thank you all for the time you took to answer my question.
It has been about 2 weeks since the accident, and I have been polite with the adjuster and the person who hit my car is cooperating (at least with me) and signed a written statement admitting his fault.
On a side note: I hope the esurance adjuster does not find it annoying that someone is calling to ask for the status of the claim, like the Florida adjuster who commented on here.
