Default I had about $2000 worth of tools stolen out of my truck tool box. Will my auto

insurance cover this? Someone mention my home owners insurance might pick it up. What's the best way to notify the local pawn shops so that they can keep an eye for these items? I did file the report with local police department.

Car insurance is for your car only (the ONLY other thing I have seen covered under your car insurance are child safety seats - & that is only if they were in an accident). Your tools will be covered by your homeowners policy, but this would be PERSONAL tools only. If they were your business tools you would have had to have a separate business policy just for your tools (commercial inland marine).
