Generally the seller would pay in most counties. There are a few counties that the buyer pays but most of them are seller. Title insurance is a set figure based on the sale price of the house. It's $575.00 for the first $100K and $500.00 for each additional $100k up to 1 Million. There are other fees also associated with this. Seller would also pay for Doc stamps on the Deed for recording which is $7.00 per $1000.00. and any closing fee and search and exam fees. Buyer will pay for any fees associated with a mortgage assuming there is a mortgage.
