I have a FLHX but I would like to buy a crossover for around town and into the woods. What cc (size of motor) should keep me on the low end of the insurance bracket.?
I heard it was 600cc or less will lower the insurance is that true?

The only reason that a bike with that cc would lower the insurance is because they are not that powerful, you also have to take other factors into account, like what type of bike it is sports will be more to insure than a naked bike.

If you want a enduro bike try a 250cc cheap to insure and will give enough power round town and through the woods etc.
