i would call proressive to start...........be sure you get uninsured motorist coverage if and when you can use liability insurance. be sure you ask details about the coverage you will have.
i was involved in a head on collission and the drunk only had 50,000 in insurance. i had only state required insurance and am left with a bankruptcy for about 200,000. be sure to get the better coverage. you may never need it.
i used state required from when i was 14 and had a farm to market license and a motorcycle restriction in okla. then 26 years later i am unable to work and fighting social security......
i wish i was covered better with the insurance i carry because it would have been well worth the extra money i would have paid the last 26 years................IF I only new then what i know NOW.

I can't address your particular situation, but my husband has a nice Harley insured with Markel American Insurance Co., of Glen Allen, VA, at (800) 236-2453. His rates are extremely reasonable. Good luck to you!
