im 18 and am looking to buy a street bike to save on gas (i spend 80 a week now) the only thing im concerned about is insurance costs what are you guys paying???

I pay $300.00 per year. But, I'm 49 ( younger is more expensive), ride a cruiser (crotch rockets are more expensive) and have never had a motorcycle claim in 35 years of riding.

You will spend more on insurance than you will save in gas, because you're under 25.

You would be better off getting a smaller car with better mileage.

Or you could ignore me and find out for yourself.

a little less than 300 a month, i only have my beginners but i took a motrocycle safety course. which i would deffinatly reccomend cause i saved $1500 a year.
