how much is motorcycle insurance in nc?

i'm thinking about getting a motorcycle and i wanna see how much cheaper it is than getting a car and how much it would help

it just depends on the driver, the insurance company and what kind of policy you chose.

Im in Fl mine for 2 bikes thru Progressive(2005 Harley Custom Road king and 2003 Custom 883)which a lot of coverage is 40.00 a month. In Pa where we live PT its 65.00 a month. However Insurance is not required here in Florida, I have it for my own peace of mind. In Pa it is required so you might want to check into that too.Also depends on the bike.Some are much higher than others.

A lot of factors involved - the bike, the rider, your driving record, etc. My suggestion would be to go out and get an on-line quote from a few companies. I'll post a few links to the most popular ones for bikes. Mine runs about $250/ yr for a 40 something rider of a 1000cc sport-touring machine and one speeding vio.
