Default Dental: What is the cost without insurance usually??

My husband is going in to get a cleaning and full x-rays on Monday. We have insurance, but it only covers 50% of anything I believe and they are closed... I need an idea of how much money to set aside for my husbands dental work.

Any clue for a cleaning & X-Rays?

Your insurance should cover more than 50% for preventive treatment...I'd be really surprised if it didn't..

We charge $105 for a full set of xrays, $88 for a cleaning and $47 for a new patient exam.

Make sure your husband hasn't had a full set of xrays taken in the past 7 years while covered under your current insurance policy; the set on Monday won't be covered if he has.

~Hope this helps!

The first answer is definitely a good one. Something to keep in mind is that these preventative costs are much cheaper in the long run than emergency costs (for example, the cost to restore a single tooth which needs root canal, is around $1600).
