Default Anyone know a GREAT dentist on westside of Cleveland or SUPER dental insurance? I...

...had an awful experience!!!? Can you please give me some advice? I had severe dental pain leading into my ear. Within a short time, I had a molar crack vertically, under a filling...AND the molar forward of it lost the filling. I have no dental insurance and late on a Sunday night called 800dentist (after all options at home including whiskey and orajel, hoping to find a 24 hr dental emergency clinic so I could stop crying and holding my face). I got into a local dentist who checked out my xrays and didn't know which tooth was causing my pain. We did antibiotics, pain meds, a root canal on the forwardmost tooth a week later. It has been almost two weeks now and I still cannot chew, if my head is leaned too forward, I still get STRONG nerve pain and feel my headbeat. Should I go to a different dentist? I Is it maybe the wrong tooth? Any opinion would be appreciated and I will not sue you for bad advice, I promise. I just NEED to get this done. The pain in my ear has only occurred 2-3x since. Thanks all.
In case anyone wonders or if it helps, I would have handled it sooner had I known of the severity. I take vicodin HP for a back injury and it had been masking the pain. NOW I have a REAL problem! I want to keep both teeth because when I am at the point of dentures, I need my back bottom molars to attach the lower denture. There's a reason dentists tell you to keep em if you can, not always to fill their pockets. Yeah, if anyone has ever taken vicodin HP, you should understand how I got to this point, I felt nothing since the cracks happened and thought the teeth or the nerves were dead. As it turns out, the only thing dead was my awareness of the degree of complication.
I have reason to believe this guy is a scheister. Whenever I answered his questions at the initial exam, he kept telling me in a soft patronizing voice not to analize, but he was leading me into telling HIM what tooth it was because he didn't want to choose. I thought I was doing right to give all details I could. Also, after 5 shots of novacaine, I had such severe pain, was tearing up, squirming, and he kept saying "I told you (again softly patronizing), only make a sound if you feel a "pinch." No Motions or noises unless it's a 'pinch'." For the CASH of a root canal, I thought "If I want to kick you in the groin, I will. Recognize that I am dying here and go F yourself." I DO NOT want to go back to him and my old dentist is too far away for me. I need to find a dentist I like and want to keep who is close to my home, thought this guy would be great....Not so much! As it turns out, small world, found out he is my third cousin. Thank god my mother is ADOPTED into that family!
