I just went to the vet today to have some lumps on my dogs mouth checked out. The said it could be a infection or possibly cancer either way she may need a biopsy. If I apply for pet insurance now could I still be approved? I thought it maybe a good thing to have in case it is cancer.

at petsmart, you just pay/... I'm not sure that they make your pet have a physical or not. but you might want to see what the pet insurance will cover..or you might just end up paying for insurance, and STILL having to pay out of pocket for the biopsies.

Honestly, the doc will probably treat for the infection, and if it doesn't go away, THEN do the biopsy. ... antibiotics will be waaaay cheaper!

I would assume so as long as you don't have a dianosis. But cancer insuance can be more expensive that a wellness policy. Check with more than one company. I know that Petco
has an accident and cancer policy.
